" The Tree Story "

Off from home
To school I go
In the bright summer morning
The sun so lambent
The sun so pleasant
Down to the ally of trees
So big
I walk in the shade of their grandeur
From the shade of the one
To the shade of other
I walk
I run
I jump and I stop
From the shade of the one
To the shade of the other
I walk
I run
I jump and I stop
It’s time to say bye
For another tiring day at school
With History
With geography
With science
With math
I can relate to none
But will be waiting
To walk
To run
To jump and to stop.

Off from school
To home I go
In the hot summer afternoon
The sun so scorching
The sun so harsh
Down to the ally of trees
That stood so big
I walk beside the fallen grandeur
From the trunk of one
To the trunk of other
I walk
I run
I jump and I stop
From the trunk of one
To the trunk of another
I walk
I run
I jump and I stop
It’s time to say good bye
For another tiring evening at home
With homework
History
Geography
Science
Math
I’ll try to relate to things ungrasped
Waiting for another day
To walk
To run
To jump and to stop.
From the shade of one
To the shade of another.

" Walking In The City Which Once Was Green "

Walking in the city
Which once was green?
The trees were plenty
And concrete was scarce
The time though changed
It’s the other way round

The roads were narrow
The canals flowed swiftly
The trees stood tall
The air was pure
And the smell was pleasant
The time though changed
Its’ the other way round

The traffic was growing
Government had a solution
Trees which made the city green
Were marked with red
In the name of development
The tenders were passed
And the axe was swayed
Though the trees are gone
But the chunks have remained
Silently remorseful of the deed so done
The roads have widened, the jams are frequent
The signals are working, but the cops are careless.
Government is meek, thinking of a solution
But there isn't any solution
Because the trees are gone

Walking in the city
Which once was green?
The concrete is plenty
And the trees are scarce
The time have changed
Who will TURN it the other way round?
